It’s officially back-to-school time in Chichigalpa. All of our students start back to school on Monday, February 6th. One of our favorite parts of the back-to-school season is handing out our new backpacks and uniforms to all of our students. Each student receives a backpack filled with school supplies, a school uniform, gym outfit, and money for school shoes at the beginning of the year. All of our high school students also receive an ID card that they are able to use at internet cafes in order to complete class investigations.
We love to see the students’ smiles as they receive their new backpack and their excitement to start another school year! We believe that they will do BIG things this year. Here are pictures of our students with their backpacks:
