Their work is not seen by many, but we all benefit from their dedication and perseverance.</p>

<p>Our call to transform Nicaragua can only be accomplished with great leaders and that is why we prioritize local leadership empowerment. Everything we do is in teams, and every team must have leaders. We are proud and thankful to have every single ministry led by a local Chichigalpan Nicaraguan including pastors, clinic, education, coaches, legal, finances, and top to bottom of each church.</p>

                                                        <h3>Children Feeding Centers</h3>
                                                        <p>Hunger is real for many in Nicaragua. We have begun children’s feeding programs in five churches to provide nutritious meals to help many who are malnourished and to show them God’s love and teach them weekly.</p>
<p>We also offer provisions to families during the most difficult times of the year. We know that this coming year will be very difficult as prices have already increased after the damage from the two hurricanes.                                                         <p>We had never realized what a great evangelistic tool a truck would be until we tried it with Linda’s truck while she was in the States! The first time we only had 6-7 people who were willing to start with this dream but now 20-30 people are clamoring to participate, especially the youth!</p>
<p>The communities are blessed with faith, hope, and prayer covering them corporately and individually, as we share the Love of Christ and the blessing of living aware of His presence.</p>

                                                        <p>In the past, the rural pastors have had very little training from the Bible.  As a result they believe and teach many things that are not scriptural. One of the most important areas is our understanding of the New Covenant. So many church members are still trying to serve Jesus in the way of the Old Covenant, trying to obey rules and regulations while remaining under guilt, shame, condemnation, and fear.                                                         <p>Sports present a unique environment where fun and life lessons meet. Here at New Song not only are those benefits realized, but more than anything, the opportunity to share Christ is the focus. First and foremost, it is a ministry and the other things such as life lessons and fun are added by-products.</p>
<p>Thanks to the willingness and faithfulness of a few the sports ministry here at New Song is undergoing an exciting transformation. The field at the mission is being professionally renovated to provide two small baseball fields as well as having the option of a big field so that it still can be utilized for young adults/adults.</p>
