Geydeling is finishing up her third grade year and continues to maintain good grades in her classes. Heidiling is a smart student and has really enjoyed making arts and crafts in her class. Through her sponsorship, Geydeling received her needed school supplies including notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, as well as materials for class projects. With the sugar can harvest season over, Geydelings’s dad has started working as a bicycle taxi driver. Her school also had a school-wide event celebrating typical Nicaraguan foods. Sponsorship helped provide the funds for this event and the church came together to cook for the school. Geydeling also received her annual dental cleaning and fluoride treatment through the New Song Dental Clinic. Recently, her community was without running water for a couple of weeks. Sponsorship provided the local school with a bucket for every classroom so that the students could have drinking water while in class. Through sponsorship, Geydeling is able to receive needed school supplies, uniforms, backpacks, and school shoes to attend her classes.
