The Church Rivers of Living Water, exists for the purpose of making disciples of the Good News. Proclaim the Love of God in the lives of all kinds of people.
We exist to strengthen Men, Women and Children disciples of Christ.
We want to offer different activities that strengthen the biblical teachings, sharing and experiencing the love of God.
Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. John 7:38
Our first need is to be able to build a building with a strong roof where our brothers do not get wet during the winter. We are praying to God for him to knock on doors and there will be doors of blessing to help us. The second main objective is to promote activities that help us to take Alcoholics and Drug addicts out of the street and disciple them for Christ. We also want to offer camps for children and teach teamwork and ignite the passion and love of God.
We want to invite the Body of Christ to Connect and care with Pastor Saul and the River of Life Church to create bright hope with passion and purpose in the midst of darkness through a partnership that centers on facilitating transformation of individual lives, families and communities, impacting people with the word of God and love in action.
Pastor Saul is the youngest Pastor of the 6 and the poorest church. He pastors in a community called “The city of widows” Saul began with New Song as a 12 year old in our first Sunday School. 17 years later, he completed college, works for the Health Dept. of the government, is married and has 2 children. He is a man of passion, integrity and wisdom who carries a strong calling. He has recently asked for a demotion in his job and pay to have more freedom to serve in his church. The church building is just 4 posts and an old tin roof on a dirt floor, but Pastor Saul and his church bring hope, love and life to the community. His heart is full of compassion for the addicts on the corner and they go there to offer encouragement and something to eat while they visit with them. They visit in the homes to know their neighbors and share the love of Jesus. When they share their needs, prayed and encouragement flow.
The members of the River of Life Church give from their hearts weekly from the little they have to help buy and bring a brick to each service to build their own walls. They all participate to help bring the Kingdom of God and hope to their community.
