Sports Ministry: Baseball
March 2021 Update
We want to welcome you to our 2021 communication medium for New Song Sports Ministry. Thank you for being part of our email chain from past years, and coming alongside our and Stan Dobner’s dream of seeing many come into relationship with Christ through sports, specifically baseball.
The above video, was just posted today highlighting one of God ‘s coolest connections during February. He linked us with Ronald Rivera who got 4 other teammates (5 pro baseball players) to join him and lead a 3-day baseball camp in Candelaria!
They trained our kids (and coaches) on pitching, fielding, base running, and of course batting. We are planning another camp for mid-March currently; they are blessing our leadership, coaches, and players far more than they know.
Some of you may only see the email updates of all God is doing in and through Baseball Ministry. and we wanted to invite you to not only read, but also see pictures and videos of your influence on the diamond, and beyond.

Our Sports & Rec Administrator, Roger Rosales, setup a home and away game with Somotillo (a community over 90 minutes north of our academy) and continues to lead well completing one year of working with New Song this month!
The next pro camp day is planned for 3 days in mid-March – some of same players will return, and some will assist for the first time. Roger reported last week, that it is such a cool thing to have the pros helping out, but he’s even more impressed with the kids growth in devotions and results of bible verse training.
We love and appreciate all of you who are part of our team, and we thank God for so many blessings he provided us this past month.
