It is another Saturday in November, which means a lot of you will be watching a (or multiple) football game(s) today. Seven FBS teams entered the day undefeated, Two of them are losing about to enter the 4Q, and the SEC has 2 of those teams playing each other later today. I played football for twelve years, the final five were with Appalachian State who unfortunately lost for the first time last week. Do you know what undefeated teams have to do?
THEY MUST FINISH THE FOURTH QUARTER!
I hear Coach Moore’s voice often “How ya gonna finish?” Every practice, every halftime, every 4Q with the entire stadiums (four) fingers in the air.
I have now been on the mission field for twelve seasons also. I have also come to learn that Finishing Out the Fourth Quarter is very tough, but equally important. Every year around October, we can see that scoreboard, and know what is needed before the clock reaches 00:00 to come out on top.
There are less than 36-hours remaining in our Finishing Out the Fourth Quarter Campaign. $12,400 has been sent since Monday, and we are only $1,100 from our goal. The best time to help us is NOW, before the clock hits 00:00 midnight Monday morning, because every donation of our final $1,100 will be matched dollar for dollar by our matching donor team.
