Student Sponsorship Assistant

(Will work under the direction of Lisa Smith)

Total of 3 interns are needed for Job description

Attributes:

• Able to speak Spanish and English
• Communicate with US Sponsors, local children, school directors, pastors and parents
• Organized, good Communicator, meets on-time deadlines
• Background in education (not-required)
• Compassionate when dealing with families’ needs & firm with following program requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Home visits, photos and bio creation to collect personal information of new students and share that students story with sponsor
• Communicate with sponsors through child letter writing and online updates
• Delivery of school supplies to sponsored students
• Visits with families to review contracts, collect information, offer tutoring and provide discipleship
• Connecting with teachers and school directors to evaluate their school performance & partner with local educators to improve learning
• Promote sponsorship and look for new sponsors
• Monitoring individual children’s finances, needs, grades, and spiritual wellbeing for child in you assigned village
