Prayers for Nica and C.A.

Thank you for your Prayers!

Thank you to all of you who prayed for Nicaragua just 2 weeks ago when Hurricane Eta struck Central America and caused lots of damage.

We are asking for your prayers again as Hurricane Iota is now hitting (6PM local) the exact same part of the country currently. This is the second category 4 or worse in past 13 days (Eta C4, Iota C5) to strike Nicaragua and Honduras.

We are grateful for all who prayed and reached out the week of Nov 3, and that Eta did not affect our mission or communities directly, but Nicaragua and Central America are hurting.

Specifically: Nicaragua, Honduras, and Guatemala are barely beginning to recover and receive aid from Eta as they embrace for Iota NOW! The current path is astonishingly similar to what just caused a lot of damage and lives lost less than 10 days ago.

Thank you for your continued prayers for New Song, and especially the east coasts and already flooded areas of Nicaragua, Honduras, and Guatemala.

Last week’s Monday Motivation seems fitting for this week too:

“Nothing can Separate Us From His Perfect Love Which Casts Out ALL Fear!”

Jesus says: Nothing, N-O-T-H-I-N-G, Nothing, Absolutely Nothing, in all creation can separate you from My Love. No Thing, not one single thing, – including pandemics & hurricanes – not even death are strong enough to disunite you and My Unfailing Love!

Even though real circumstances often tell and show us otherwise, even though many times we appear and feel so insecure, what is real is not always Truth. God wants His people to experience deep, unshakeable confidence that they are secure in His Love (His Son).

No matter where we go, what we do, who we face, or what we fear, God will always be there with us, and for us, in all of His Great Love.

Walk securely knowing this Truth, and have a blessed week!

The video above is from two Wednesdays ago as our church leadership prayed for Honduras, Belize, Caymans, Cuba, and Florida after Eta turned north.

We are thanking God for His faithfulness redirecting Hurricane Eta and weakening its winds, and for bringing Linda safely back to the mission.

Thank you for all of your prayers and for continuing to pray with us.
