Connections

Connection With God

As Christians and fellow stewards of The Gospel of Christ, our connection with God is a vital part of our lives. God is the life source to our lives. He’s the gas in our cars, the beats of our hearts and the fire in our souls. Without Him, We would be nothing! Here at New Song, connection with God is one of the most important aspects of our mission. “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine….” Song of Solomon 6:3

Connection With Others

New Song believes that community is a vital part of growth as a church. Community provides church members with the love and support that they need in order to live forth their faith and displays the love of Christ to the community around us.

The early church in Acts lived in true community with one another. “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.” -Acts 2:42-44 (NLT)
Within our churches, we desire to form deep relationships with one another by worshiping and praying together, meeting together in our homes, and providing for the needs of our church family. As we build trusting relationships with one another based in love and mutual respect, we will become a testimony to our communities that the Lord’s love lives in us. “Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.” -1 John 4:11-12

Connection through Projects

Here at New Song, much of what we do involves creating opportunities for those around us. Through development of Christ centered projects, platforms are provided to apply the truths of scripture, build connections with our community to overcome physical and spiritual poverty and bring the Kingdom to earth.

Connection with the World

Here at New Song we desire connections with those around us. Whether its groups serving with us, or the people in the village, we love to see relationships built and connections made. However, because we are stationed in Nicaragua doesn’t mean we are restricted to Nicaragua. As Christians, we are all fighting for the same cause, the same mission, the same Lord. We desire to extend our hand and our love for Christ throughout the rest of the world, establishing connections with groups, ministry, organizations, churches, people, etc. who are all about seeing the lost come to know Christ.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
